Sir Nicholas Winton - A true British hero
A British man who saved 669 children, most of them Jews, from the Nazis is to receive the Czech Republic's highest state honour.

Sir Nicholas Winton was 29 when he arranged trains to take the children out of occupied Czechoslovakia and for foster families to meet them in London.

Now 105, he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme he felt proud that he had "made a difference to a lot of people".

I certainly wouldn't be here, my Grandad came here on the trains. All his family including baby brother murdered in the camps. This man gave him the opportunity to live in our great land of freedom and opportunity and he has never ever forgotten that.

RIP SIR

Obviously a wonderful human being and someone who will remain within the hearts and minds of the families of those children he saved, may he rest in peace.

Uncle Junior - if your anecdote it true, your wife might want to remind herself about her professional duty of care towards her patients' privacy.
